Skies were clear outside the city of Beijing where it was smoky. Temps weren’t bad until the cable car dropped us off at the summit of the Badaling Great Wall. We took a few photos, marked it off the list of the seven wonders of the world my friend had now had been to, and headed back to lower ground where it wasn’t frigid.
