In September 09, I was assigned as the project controls manager on the Al Houara Coastal Resort in Tangier,
Morocco. I supervised project controls efforts on the design/build Al Houara Coastal Resort, multi-phase design-build resort featuring apartments, condominiums, hotels, retail, golf course worth approximately $1.2 billion and located near the city of Tangier Morocco. Coordinated staff efforts, established policy, and/or educated team members on project controls (scheduling, cost, document controls, and documentation). Responsible for weekly, monthly, and periodic reports, schedule updates, scenario, cost / resource loading, risk ranging and assessment, cost reporting and forecasting, communication management, document management, contract interpretation and implementation and information technology coordination and policy implementation/administration. The project controls department provided direct support to the engineering, design and construction departments in supervising design and construction efforts with the client, contractors, and government entities.
